The Force Behind the Power is a 1991 album released by Diana Ross on the Motown label. Featuring production from the likes of Narada Michael Walden, Stevie Wonder and Al B. Sure, the album, like Workin' Overtime before it, was an attempt to gear Ross to a younger R&B audience. The album yielded the top 5 R&B duet with Al B. Sure, "No Matter What You Do", and a top 40 R&B ballad, "When You Tell Me You Love Me", Ross' last top forty R&B hit on the Billboard chart.
