The latest additions to the park are

  • The Kingsford Venue

A theatre tent bought from i think it was the Royal Shakespear Company. Building of this finished in late March 2005 and was initally opened for the "centre stage" shows and later named the Kingsford Venue

  • The Magmun bar

Formally the milkcan prize games area which closed at the end of 2004 summer season. This area was used as the jacket potato stand in the 2005 summer season. The building of the Magnum bar started early in the 2006 summer season but wasn't finished (late due to the builders taking their time then the electrician cover for the rest of the park was virtually suspended until the electricians finished wiring the place) by the mid July 2006

Trivia:

  • The Goats for the 2006 summer season are known (at least by the General duties staff) as Frodo Baggins and Mr Tumnus.
  • By mid September 2006 visitor numbers were rumored to be approx 27000 down on that time 2005
  • The Park made a Loss in the 12 months up to the end of Jan 2005 in the region of £350,000 and had an overdraft and other loans totaling in the region of £2million

Anticipated changes for the 2007 summer season include: The "war of the robots" being moved from its current location by the drop slide to in front of the sea legs play area in place of the "nice ice" kiosk. There are not expected to be any new rides for 2007 due to the Kingsford Venue being so much over budget in its construction. There possibly wont be any new ride in 2008 either
