The Fisticuffs are a south Chicago suburbs-based Irish folk rock band. Formed in 2005, the band currently consists of Bobby Baldwin (vocals, acoustic guitar), Ian Tully (bagpipes, tin whistle), Dave Beneventi (mandolin), Steve Baldwin (washboard), Brandon Simmons (bass), Tony Dellorto (drums), Arcadia Kust (fiddle), and Sean Moriarty (electric guitar).

The band formed in 2005, and released their debut album, "Bruised but Not Beaten," on March 17th, 2006.

In Spring 2006, Jake Oostema and Ian Sutherland left the band on good terms. Sutherland left to pursue his other band, The Glowing Magnets. Sean Moriarty joined in Fall 2006 to take over his guitar duties.

The Fisticuffs are currently in the process of playing shows at venues in the Chicagoland area. Recording for their next album is scheduled to start in early 2007 for a June 2007 release.
