The Filipino Channel (TFC) is the international cable TV arm of ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation managed by ABS-CBN Global Ltd. Established in 1994, The Filipino Channel have been connecting Filipinos abroad with the current events in the Philippines and have been airing ABS-CBN shows as well. In 1998, ABS-CBN TFCDirect! switched from analog to digital transmission to provide viewers superior broadcast quality. Its features include 24-hour programming of the ABS-CBN produced-shows from the Philippines.

The company's main aim is to establish invisible ties between OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers) and their families in the Philippines through their slogan "Basta May Pilipino, May TFC" (Wherever There's A Filipino, There Will Be TFC). TFC, for 12 years, has made the Overseas Filipinos its priority.

ABS-CBN International launched its core product, The Filipino Channel, in 1994. Distributed by major cable operators as well as direct-to-home satellite dish. The Filipino Channel (TFC) has over 100,000 U.S. Filipino subscribers viewing the Tagalog-language premium programming service in North America.

Originating from Manila, TFC provides news and entertainment programs to its viewers. These programs also help 2nd and 3rd generation Filipino-Americans feel closer to their culture. In addition to TFC, ABS-CBN bundles three other 24-hour video channels (news, movies, and regional/sports), two radio channels and retail products, telecommunication products/services and cargo services for its satellite customers. ABS-CBN Global Ltd. teamed up with USA's largest Direct-To-Home satellite television service, DIRECTV in 2005 for its expansions in North America.

TFC also offers its "TFC Direct" service throughout the United States. The service provides TFC with other Pinoy programming such as radio stations from the Philippines and other television channels via a direct to home satellite service.
