The Faders were a British female pop punk band formed in January 2004 by bassist/keyboardist Toy Valentine and drummer Cherisse Osei. Frontwoman and lead guitarist, Molly Lorenne was later introduced to the band by a mutual friend, completing the lineup.

After signing to Polydor Records, the band released their debut single, "No Sleep Tonight" in March 2005 − reaching No. 13 in the UK Singles Chart. Their second single, "Jump", came out a few months later and reached #21. The release of their third single was cancelled after they split up.
On Thursday 6 July 2006, news of the band's split was post in their MySpace blog and in their official forum.
All three members have new music-related projects. Toy Valentine has begun a new music project, under the name "Valentine Wild". Molly Lorenne has now been signed under the name "Molly McQueen" - and is releasing the faders hit "No Sleep Tonight", which is being used as the soundtrack for the 2006 film "My Super Ex-Girlfriend". Cherisse Osei is believed to be drumming for a start up band touring with Simply Red.

The lead singer of the band, Molly Lorenne (real name Molly Decima Ure), was born on 7 March 1987. Her father is Midge Ure of The Rich Kids and Ultravox fame. Her post-Faders career will be under the name Molly McQueen, starting with a re-recording of The Faders' greatest hit No Sleep Tonight.
Toy Valentine (real name Jade Thirlby), the band's bassist and backing singer, was born on 4 July 1985. She also plays guitar and keyboards. Her father is a renowned blues guitarist from Stoke Hammond.
Cherisse Osei (real name Cherrise Amma Loren Ofosu-Osei), the Faders' backing singer and drummer, was born on 23 December 1986. She says she "stands out due to her dimples". Her dad, Eddie Osei starred in the film Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist.

One of their public performances was at a live gig in Jersey called "The Jersey Telecom - Summer Sizler" on 9 July 2005. The band also supported US singer Kelly Clarkson on the UK portion of her 2006 Breakaway World Tour.

- The band performed the song "Whatever It Takes" on the episode Blast from the Past (Veronica Mars episode) of the television series Veronica Mars The song "No Sleep Tonight" was featured on the Veronica Mars Original Television Soundtrack.
- The song "No Sleep Tonight" was featured in a TV commercial in the USA for the Cingular ROKR phone with iTunes,the UK for the Vodafone Stop The Clock campaign and in the soundtrack of the British TV series "Sugar Rush".
- The song "Jump" was featured in The Sims 2: Nightlife in Simlish, the unique language created by Maxis for the game.
