'The Evil Beneath and Carl Wheezer, Boy Genius is an episode of The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron. It was aired in January 26, 2006.

After watching a show called Mysterious Mysteries, Jimmy claimed that the "Bahama Quadrangle" incident isn't real. He also tells Carl and Sheen that one of his favorite scientists Doctor Sydney Orville Moist has become a victim of a Bermuda Triangle-like incident. Jimmy and the gang decided to check the incident. They ended up in a submarine of Dr. Moist. While in the submarine, Moist has created the Algae Men to serve the gang. He end up putting a chemical on the food that Jimmy and the gang ate as they were changing. It was revealed that Moist planned to get revenge against those who have wronged him by turning all people into algae men. He succeeded on locking Jimmy and the gang before they changed the air temperature and humidity to escape. After Jimmy, Carl, and Sheen were cured, they use gum to make the algae men get bigger, and explodes with Moist in it.

Carl wanted to be a boy genius like Jimmy. He has a girlfriend who's name is Elke Ekberg, whom he told that he is a genius, and Jimmy is his dimwitted assistant. Carl has dressed up perfectly. Jimmy has became upset for his job. He tried to tell the truth, but Sheen refuses to let him do that. After Carl made the rocket messed up, Jimmy decided to tell the truth, only Sheen intervines. Carl and his girlfriend decided to tell the truth about each other and became friends.

- Carl and his girlfriend are both members of the Llama Society.
- When Carl and his girlfriend show their llama society cards, Carl's card says 00000000001 and his girlfriend says 000000000002 which must mean that they are the only or first members.
- The two algaemen that Dr. Moist calls out have the names: "Nipsey" and "Russell", an obvious homage to the late television poet laureate Nipsey Russell.
- Ekberg means "oak mountains" in Swedish.
- The show name Mysterious Mysteries is derived from the show Invader Zim, another Nick show.
- The algaemen are similar in design to Clayface from Batman: The Animated Series.
- In some airings of the episode Carl Wheezer, Boy Genius airs first and then The Evil Beneath.
- The Bahama Quadrangle is a spoof of the Bermuda Triangle.
- Supposedly, this was going to be the first time Dr. Moist appears. However, he makes a brief cameo in The Jimmy Timmy Power Hour 2, which aired before this.
