The Endless Abyss is a mysterious new album currently slated as the follow-up to Yellowcard's most recent cut, Lights and Sounds. Details are sparse, but it appears Yellowcard is going to continue to experiment with different musical concepts, as they did with the jazz-influenced "Two Weeks From Twenty". The album currently has no release date nor have they even announced a producer. (Though it's safe to assume Neal Avron, the producer of Lights and Sounds as well as the multi-platinum Ocean Avenue will make a return).
