The Emperor Scorpion Strikes Back is the twenty-ninth episode of the animated television series Xiaolin Showdown created by Christy Hui. It was directed by Matt Danner and Stephen Sandoval and written by Adam I. Lapidus. It originally aired in the United States on Kids WB on February 19, 2005.

[edit] Plot synopsis
Once every thousand years, the planets align themselves, causing the Shen Gong Wu to form Mala Mala Jong on their own. Most of the Shen Gong Wu travel to a cave somewhere, closely followed by the four chosen ones, Dojo, and Jack Spicer. Omi spots the Wu moving towards the cave entrance, but so does Jack, so Omi goes to fight Jack, knowing that he should have called for the help of the other three, who were right behind him. Once in the cave, Omi confronts Jack, who uses the Ring of Nine Dragons to have a better advantage. Omi fights the 7 Jacks and defeats them, but he is unable to stop Mala Mala Jong from forming. Mala Mala Jong's new quest is to use the Ring of Nine Dragons to form into the Fearsome Four. Once Mala Mala Jong gets the Ring, he transforms into the Fearsome Four. This action causes the Emperor Scorpion, a Wu which controls all other wu, to reveal itself. Because of its abilities, this Wu can be used to break up the Fearsome Four. Dojo dramatically reveals it is at the center of the Earh. The warriors use the Tunnel Armadillo to get to the center of the earth (where the Emperor Scorpion is located), and Omi spots the Wu on a small mound of hardened lava. Unfortunately, the Fearsome Four are there too (they used the Serpent's Tail), as well as Jack and Wuya. While the warriors are fighting the Fearsome Four, Jack claims the Emperor Scorpion and uses it to make the Fearsome Four laugh evilly, laugh evilly while hopping on one foot, and laugh evilly while tap-dancing before using it to make them help him rule the world. The monks follow Jack to his house and break in with the Tunnel Armadillo. While fighting the Fearsome Four, Kimiko uses the Golden Tiger Claws to knock the Emperor Scorpion out of Jack's hands. It falls on the floor, and each of the warriors and the Fearsome Four dive for it at the same time, starting an 8-way Xiaolin Showdown. The game is "the Ropes of Darkness," last to fall wins. Unfortunately for Omi, the dots on his forehead give off light, so the Fearsome Four can see him. He is able to hold on, but Raimundo, Kimiko, Clay, and two of the Fearsome Four fall, leaving Omi against the other two. Kimiko uses her fire power to make things easier to see, and one of the Fearsome Four drops the Orb of Tornami. Omi grabs it and uses it to knock down the other two and end the showdown. Before breaking up the Fearsome Four, Omi uses the Emperor Scorpion to make the Four play a game of basketball with Jack Spicer as the ball.
