The Electric Confectionaires are a rock and roll band. They live and play music in the seaside suburb of Devonport in Auckland, New Zealand. They play a distinctive style of music that has been described as psychedelic lollipop rock. They were the winners of the 2005 Smokefree Rockquest and played at the Auckland Big Day Out in January 2006. They cite as their influences Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Checks and barbershop.
