The Egoscue Method

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Egoscue Method is a therapeutic technique developed by Peter Egoscue, who founded the Egoscue Clinic. He was injured during the Vietnam War and spent some time in a hospital recovering. Out of his experiences, he developed revolutionary ideas regarding the treatment of postural problems and chronic pain. His main principles are that bones do what muscles tell them to do; that the body is a functional unit; and the belief that the person suffering from such problems has the primary responsibility for healing himself.
