The Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry

The Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry was the 32nd Regiment of Foot of the British Army.

Its name evolved as follows:

  • 1782-1858 32nd (Cornwall) Regiment of Foot
  • 1858-1881 32nd (Cornwall) Light Infantry
  • 1881 as the name of this article

In 1959 it merged to become part of the Somerset and Cornwall Light Infantry.

Part of the regiment's former barracks in Bodmin now serve as the regimental museum.
