The Double Door

The Double Door is a concert hall and nightclub located at 1572 N. Milwaukee Av., in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood. This venue was first opened on June 12, 1994. The club states that artists which played there were local acts The Smashing Pumpkins, Local H, Veruca Salt, Liquid Soul, Jesse de la Pena, Liz Phair, and Cheap Trick, as well as a number of national and international tallents.

The Double Door also hosted such events as MOB fest, television show and movie filmings, and events sponsered by ASCAP, Maverick Records, MTV, VH1, Rolling Stone and among others.

This venue hosts a capacity of 473 people. It has a stage, a dance floor and a bar. Pool tables are located downstairs.
