[edit] Plot
Muriel is not satisfied with their mattress and so orders a new one from a strange mattress service that seems to have been waiting for her to call. Two sinister deliverymen arrive with a scary-looking mattress. Muriel does not seem to notice anything wrong, but Courage is spooked by the deliverymen (one in particular) and has noticed a face appear in the mattress. He tries to warn Muriel who ignores him and goes to take a nap. Spying on her through the window, Courage sees a strange gas come out of the mattress and go through Muriel's nose. Muriel starts eerily floating above the bed, and the ladder which Courage is using snaps. Courage and Eustace go to have a look to find that Muriel's complexion has completely changed. Her hair is now fiery, her skin faintly green and her glasses glowing red. Her teeth are now fangs and she speaks in a deep, rasping voice. Courage and Eustace are terrified. Courage discovers that a demon had possessed Muriel's body, and the demon bests Courage and Eustace at every turn, vomiting on them and licking them with a large purple tongue. Courage finds that they need an exorcism and goes to the Computer for help. Courage manages to exorcise the demon, but Eustace enters, planning on performing the incantation himself after failing once. The demon the enters Eustace, but it is defeated by Muriel and Courage. They wrap him up in the mattress, and call the mattress service. The deliverymen take it back.
