The Dalmore is a single malt scotch whisky distilled in Alness, Scotland about 20 miles north of Inverness. Its location, along with its unique flavor, define it as a highland malt. The distillery was founded in 1839 by Alexander Matheson.

The Dalmore is generally available in three expressions or ages: 12 year old, 21 year old and 28 year old. Other expressions can be found, but are much rarer.
