The Cross-Tie is an e-zine published by U.S.-based railfan site Railfanning.org.
The Cross-Tie began its publication in January 2003 and 10 issues were released in its first year. Twelve issues were published in 2004 and another 12 issues were published in 2005. The publication is edited by Todd DeFeo and usually includes both features and news articles about the railroad industry.
In May 2004, the publication launched its Web page, www.thecrosstie.com
