The Common Good is a small political party in the United Kingdom
Founded and led by Rev. Dr. Richard (Dick) Rodgers, a clergyman living in Northfield, Birmingham, the party's principles are founded on his Christian faith. Their founding principle is:
Tomorrow we'll be happier, living and working for each other's good and for the good of the world, that is, for "The Common Good".
The party contested the West Midlands region in the 2004 European Parliamentary Election, gaining 0.6% of the vote. In 2004, Dr Rodgers contested the Hartlepool by-election and received 0.3%.
The party fielded candidates in the 2005 general election. Dick Rogers stood in the Dunfermline and West Fife by-election, 2006, where he received 103 votes, 0.3% of the turnout.
