[edit] Second Studio Album

The Cheetah Girls plan to release their second studio album in the spring-summer of 2007. They will start recording it in February 2007 after The Party's Just Begun Tour ends. "We'll be making a real album, not a soundtrack," Adrienne Bailon says. "Some of the music on there will be produced by will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas," she says. "It's important for people to see us as a real musical group. We have all this great marketing around us, with the movies and other things. But we are a musical group." In an interview with Billboard about the album, Sabrina Bryan stated that the girls are working on writing for the album on their current tour and that they hope to gather an audience of older fans while simultaneously staying true to their younger fan base. Bryan also stated that the girls would work with producers they've worked with in the past as well as exploring new producers, such as Timbaland. It was also stated that the album would be released on Hollywood Records. They have annoced that Girls Just Wanna Have Fun will be their first single from the album. They have also been performing a song Falling For You from this album on their The Party's Just Begun Tour. They have also confirmed the name of this album to be Cheetahs Gonna Get Down.

Plans for a Cheetah Girls clothing line were first confirmed in early 2004 by member Adrienne Bailon in an interview with MTV. However there was never any mention about this until August of 2006. In a commercial for a So Hot Summer Cheetah Girls 2 Party the nararrator was quoted as saying "Also, check out stores now for Cheetah-Licious clothing and accessories." Also, in an appearance on Good Morning America, Raven-Symoné mentioned that The Cheetah Girls clothes would be out soon. Finally in an interview with Martha Stewart, The Cheetah Girls said that the clothes were avalible in Sears stores nationwide.

Tour merchandise is also avalible such as T-Shirts, posters, glowsticks, tour books and tour pass necklaces only avalible when The Cheetah Girls are on tour. Recently, The Cheetah Girls had a toothbrush modeled after them. The toothbrush features a picture of The Cheetah Girls and plays a clip of their single Shake A Tail Feather. They are also planning to launch other Cheetah Girls merchandise as well, as Kiely said "We wanna paint the Globe Cheetah". They have also been offered a contract with Frito-Lay to promote Cheetos.(It is not yet known if they have accepted).
