The Catholic Herald is Britain's leading Catholic newspaper, published in broadsheet format and retailing at £1 (1.50 in the Republic of Ireland). The current editor is Luke Coppen; the two previous editors are Cristina Odone and Peter Stanford.

The Herald claims a total readership of 45,000 from 22,000 copies distributed to Roman Catholic parishes, wholesale outlets and postal subscribers. This includes 1,000 issues distributed in the Republic of Ireland. [citation needed]
