[edit] Gameplay
One aspect of the game is an exaggerated physics engine which allows characters to be launched several feet into the air as a result of attacks. This physics engine was an inovator of the 'domino effect', where gamers are able to send opponents into one another from an attack, knocking each other down, like a line of dominos. The game also has a multiplayer function which accommodates four players at once. As they progress through the game, characters receive grades, of which 'S-class' is the highest. The game also has a survival mode. The reward for defeating all 50 foes in survival mode is an alternate costume for Sion (a black hooded sweatshirt).
[edit] Characters
- Sion Barzahd-Courage-: A bouncer who works in Bar Fate. He has a unique style that incorporates kenpo aspects. He vowed to stop Dauragon to avenge his master and save Dominique.
- Volt Krueger-Honor-: A former employee of the Mikado corporation prior to Dauragon's ownership who now works in Bar Fate; He is the epitome of a true professional wrestler and vowed to stop Dauragon to restore his former employer's name.
- Kou Leifoh-Optimism-: An undercover agent posing as a bouncer in Bar Fate to keep taps on Dominique. He has mastered Tae Kwon Do to extraordinary levels despite his mother's disapproval when a young boy.
- Dominique Cross-Love-: Sister of Dauragon and friend of the workers of Bar Fate. She seems to have some connection with the Mikado corporation as she is more than what she appears to be.
- Dauragon C. Mikado-Resentment-: The current CEO of the Mikado Corporation. He is well-trained in academics (ie solar technology) as well as martial arts (kenpo).
- Mugetsu-Madness-: A covert ninja working for Dauragon who loves to kill his enemies regardless of the situation. The cybernetic modifications on his body make him a unstable psychopath.
- Echidna-Entrapment-: An associate/lover of Volt who betrayed him when Dauragon seized control of Mikado Corp. She is skilled in the art of Capoeira.
- Wong Leung-Wisdom-: Wise kenpo master of Sion and Dauragon who is advanced in years but possesses massive power nonetheless. However, that power was useless against Dauragon.
- Kaldea Orchid-Sorrow-: A woman from Sion's past who is a result of a genetic experiment performed by Mikado corporation. She can assume the form of a black panther in battle.
- Leann Caldwell-Dedication-: Kou's superior who is closely watching the whereabouts of both Mikado and Dominique.
- PD-4-Vanity-: A deadly Mikado Corp android that is able to extend sharp scythes from its hand. PD-4 uses the Muay Thai fighting style. When defeated, PD-4 lets out an effeminate but loud shriek.
- Master Mikado-Stewardship-: Dauragon's honorable step-father, who is deceased by the time the game starts and appears only in flashbacks.
