The Bob and Sheri Show is a syndicated US radio program hosted by Bob Lacey and Sheri Lynch at radio station WLNK in Charlotte, North Carolina. The show is owned by Lincoln Financial Media and runs live on over 60 nationwide affiliates from 6 to 10 AM ET.
Bob Lacey and Sheri Lynch have co-hosted the show since 1992 when Bob, already established on WLNK's morning drive show, chose Sheri as co-host from over 65 applicants. Anchored by the goofy-yet-intelligent banter and chemistry between the two hosts, the show covers a diverse range of topics in every four-hour episode.

[edit] Unique in Talk Radio
Although the show is promoted as female-oriented, it has gained a large share of male listeners as well, developing a loyal nationwide following. Bob and Sheri openly share their quirks and personal lives with listeners, creating an atmosphere of warmth and candor. The show does not rely on pranks, spoof interviews, faked phone calls or laugh tracks. There is no tolerance for sexism, racism, homophobia or stereotypical humor about nationalities, religions or disabilities. Discussion of politics is discouraged. At times, topics are quite adult in nature, with sexually-charged humor.

Bob Lacey, raised in Old Lyme, Connecticut, began his career in radio at 18. After stints at various radio stations (and aliases of "Skippy Ross" and "Skip Tyler"), he was hired in 1971 by WBT in Charlotte to host his own evening phone-in show. By 25, he'd been moved to morning-drive with his own talk show. During the 1980s, he was a host on the CBS television show, PM Magazine, for which he won an Iris Award. Returning to radio at WBCY (now WLNK) in 1990, Bob was given his own morning drive show, joined by Sheri in 1992.[1] Bob enjoys golf, wine, lobster, Maine, dogs, lighthouses, and the music of the Rolling Stones. Sensitive, very in tune with his feminine side, goofy and sophisticated, Bob is dedicated to his five children and beloved Pug dog.
Sheri Lynch grew up in Wyoming and Philadelphia, surviving a harrowing, dysfunctional childhood which she occasionally refers to on-air. She has worked in television and movies but created her own niche in radio when joining this show as an equal, outspoken and articulate partner (not a female sidekick to a male host) in 1992. She has also published two books: Hello, My Name Is Mommy and Be Happy, Or I'll Scream!, and she is remarried with two young daughters and a "bonus" son.[2] Although the show is mostly comedic, Sheri often gives serious advice to callers in trouble and has a dark sense of humor.
"Super Todd," the producer and phone screener, plays softball and has two children. Before joining the show, he was nominated for a Billboard Magazine Music Director Of The Year award in 1996.[3] "Max," the director and sound man since the show's premiere, has a prolific side career of voice work, including two "Addy" awards for advertisements, and he also performs in community theatre.[4] Both have worked at many radio stations in various positions, and both are often asked to join in the on-air conversation.

The daily "Morons In The News" brief segment features offbeat news/crime stories during the first hour. There are two segments that feature listeners calling in with anecdotes about a daily theme: "The Eye Opener" (part of the first hour) and "The Bob and Sheri Chat Room" (entire third hour, with prizes). On Fridays, there is a call-in movie review by "The People's Movie Critic," a beer company truck driver named Lamar. Other occasional regular features include "The Bob and Sheri Mailbag" (in which listener letters and emails are read on the air). The second and fourth hour feature live interviews, celebrity gossip, musical performances, comedy, and discussion of current events. Bob and Sheri fill in the rest of the show with frank discussion about their home lives, their pasts, their opinions on various issues and stories about humorous situations which they've recently dealt with.
