The Black Order's Destructive Affair!? (Japanese: 黒の教団壊滅事件!?, - Kuro no kyodan kaimetsu jiken!?) is the eighth episode of the anime series D.Gray-man.

The next morning, Allen is training in his room when he suddenly hears a crash. He runs outside to investigate, but Lenalee stops him. Instead she asks him to help her deliver coffee to the overworked staff of the Science Department. Meanwhile, the Science Department staff is moaning about the heavy workload when Komui comes into the room to make an announcement. He has recently built a robot named Komurin II - the first one got destroyed by Kanda - that will make everyone's life easier (less work for everyone)! While everyone is celebrating, Lenalee and Allen pass out coffee. The robot grabs a cup of coffee and drinks it, prompting Allen to ask if Komurin II can drink it, which Komui says it cannot. Suddenly, Komui's creation malfunctions and declares that its purpose is to help exorcists. It promptly grabs Lenalee and declares that it will make her "macho" to everyone's horror. When Reever tries to destroy it, the Head Officer stops him because he does not want his robot to be destroyed. Instead, he informs Komurin II that Allen's anti-Akuma weapon needs to be repaired. The robot, deciding Allen's case is top priority, drugs Lenalee, drops her gently on the floor, and chases after a fleeing Allen.

During this time, the rest of the staff try many strategies to save Allen, which ultimately fail and cause headquarters severe damage due to Komui's interference. Noticing an irritated Kanda coming out of his room, Allen pleads for Kanda's help, which the latter refuses to do. When Komurin II is able to grab Allen's leg and drags him toward its built-in surgery chamber, Allen decides to use his anti-Akuma weapon. He almost shoots his weapon when Komui uses a blow pipe to drug Allen. As soon as Allen disappears inside the robot, Lenalee wakes up and activates her weapon. She attacks the robot, defeats it, and finds a "mummified" but unharmed Allen inside it. During this time, Komui tries to defend his robot from everyone, but Lenalee refuses to hear any words of it. Instead, she kicks Komurin II and her brother down to the bottom of the tower. Afterward, Allen finally gets his welcome home party and recalls a time when Mana welcomes him home. Meanwhile the Earl is also having a dinner party with several mysterious guests. One of them is furious that his food is not sweet enough to his liking and immediately beat up the Akuma that serves him the meal. After he leaves the room, a young girl asks the Earl why they are having a meal together and if the reason is because they are going to start soon.
