The Black Commentator

The Black Commentator is an online weekly publication based in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. The Black Commentator debuted in April 2002 and is co-published by journalists Glen Ford and Peter Gamble. It reflects on political and cultural issues through an engagement with African-Americanism.
Frequent contributors to The Black Commentator include Maragaret Kimberly, Tim Wise, Paul Street, Glen Ford, Kevin Pina, and Peter Gamble.
At the end of August, 2006 BC co-publisher Glen Ford, along with Bruce Dixon, Margaret Kimberley and Leutisha Stills and the team that produces CBC Monitor, a regular feature that rates the Congressional Black Caucus from the viewpoint of African American voters, left Black Commentator to launch a new venture, Black Agenda Report, located at http://www.blackagendareport.com.
