The Bitch Song
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Bitch Song is an early single released by the band Bowling For Soup on their album Let's Do It for Johnny! prior to their leap into fame with the song Girl All The Bad Guys Want. In this song, the speaker sings about how his girlfriend is awful to him and is always angry with him for no apparent reason, but how this does not affect his feelings for her and the conflict this causes for him. The chorus goes as follows:
You’re a bitch
but, I love you anyway
OH OH You can’t sing
But, you still put me to sleep
Baby, You’re a bitch
Hey Hey Hey Hey
You make me sick
But, don’t ever go away
[edit] Music Video
The band created a music video for this song, in which the band is convicted for some unknown crime and put in jail. There they are forced to wear pink outfits and are treated as "bitches" by their cellmates. It also shows a relationship with a girl that seems to be equal parts amorous and hostile.
