The Big Snip is an episode of the American television sitcom Yes, Dear.

Christine thinks she is pregnant so she takes a test, but finds out it was just a close call. She is worried that she might accidentally get pregnant again so tells Jimmy he should get a vasectomy. He finally agrees to go through with it but when he is ready to get the surgery he backs out. Christine tells him that if he doesn't get the surgery they will stop having sex. After coaxing by Christine, Jimmy finally agrees to get the surgery until he sees a little girl playing in the waiting room and realizes that he if get the vasectomy he will might not be able to have a daughter in the future.
