The Technodrome once again rises to the surface of the ground, and Shredder attempts to destroy the Channel 6 news van with April O'Neil and the TMNT in it. However, Shredder is unsuccessful, and April and the turtles retreat. Splinter and the TMNT follow the Technodrome to an electricity plant where Krang manages to take over a giant dish antenna. With that giant dish antenna, he threatens to use all of the Earth's energy to create gigantic portal to Dimension X. The TMNT attempt to stop the Technodrome by electrocution, but the electrocution does not work. Splinter sneaks into the Technodrome and encounters Shredder. The Shredder then gets a chance to duel with Splinter and kill him once and for all. The Shredder is about to have victory against Splinter, but Leonardo and Michaelangelo step in and help Splinter defeat Shredder.
As the Earth approaches the portal, Krang contacts General Traag in Dimension X. General Trag reports that an entire armada of starfighters awaits to bombard the Earth the momemnt it passes through the portal.
The TMNT have to figure out a plan to thwart Krang's plans make the Earth suck into Dimension X. The U.S. army attempt to assist the TMNT, but the Technodrome is too powerful for the U.S. army to withstand it. The TMNT borrow a missile from the U.S. army and bring it to the sewers with them. Leonardo and Michaelangelo follow the Technodrome into the sewer drain. As the Technodrome hits the sewer drain, Raphael and Donatello launch the missile and banish the Technodrome to Dimension X.
General Traag and his forces open up on the Technodrome, mistaking it for Earth. The turtles save the Earth from the threat of destruction by the Technodrome once again. Laying in a pile of rubble inside the badly damaged Technodrome, Krang can't believe his own forces fired on him. Krang goes on a rant about how the Technodrome is trashed and once again they are stranded in Dimension X. Shredder tries to cheer Krang up by telling him "at least we're not in Dimension Z", in reference to the troubles they encountered from Mr. Ogg a few episodes ago. Krang, however, is merely more enraged at such a stupid remark and attacks Shredder.
