The Best of OMD is a compilation album by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, released in 1988. "Messages", "Tesla Girls", and "Talking Loud And Clear" appear in their single versions. The mix of "Telegraph" that appears is a new exclusive version, which is in fact an edit of the 12" version. This new version conforms to the structure of the groups live rendition.
"Dreaming" was released as a single to promote the album. It made little impact on the charts reaching only number 50. The album itself was very successful.
