The Benders

The Benders were a British comedy sketch group who performed on the London comedy circuit between 2000 & 2002.

The group formed in 2000 after working with the director/performer Ken Campbell on a 24hr play entitled The Warp.

In 2002 Neil Edmond went off to win the Perrier award for best newcomer with the sketch group The Consultants. They went on to record four series of the same name on BBC radio 4 between 2002 and 2005.

Renton, Stephen, and Jordan went on to form Dutch Elm Conservatoire in late 2002. They were nominated for a Perrier award for their show Conspiracy in August 2005.
