[edit] Very Brief History

Originally named "Tammany Hall", a then side project by Frank who began to write and record songs at his home studio as early as November 2003. Mike eventually joined up in January 2004 and the duo began to slowly form a band of their own, around the same time that their full-time band The Ambient Takeover was slowly dissolving after several issues within the band began to develop. In the midst of a tour in September of 2004 the band played their last show at Club 218 in Philadelphia, PA without lead guitarist Jeremy Birnbaum who had left the band shortly before the show.

After the break up, Frank began to write and record more at his home studio. The band enlisted the services of one Ed Morton, a local suburbanite, to become their bassist in January of 2005. Fast foreward to 2005, now named "The Living Daylights", Mike began to emerge as a song writer. Together with Frank, they have since written several of the band's most popular songs such as Clutch, Leer, Thanks But No Thanks, Do It On A Whim, My Darling, Roman Holiday, Full-Length Feature Dream, Anything Man, Breezy Trees, You Miss You and Split Screen (Devil's Taxi).

As of September 2006 the band is officially known as The Beesknees.
