"The Beard" is the one-hundred and second episode of the hit NBC situation comedy Seinfeld. This was the 16th episode for the 6th season. It aired on February 9, 1995.

Elaine tries to convert a gay man. George discovers that the woman Kramer has set him up with is bald. Elaine throws George's toupee out of Jerry's window. Kramer begins standing in police lineups for $50 a lineup. Jerry begins to date a cop, but she wants him to take a lie detector test to see whether or not he watches Melrose Place.
