The Bare Pit is a webcomic by Australian artist Stephen Crowley about nudists Willow, Tash, and Herb, co-owners of the Koala Bares Naturist Resort. The strip updates on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
The Bare Pit is a spin-off of the popular nudist webcomic Loxie & Zoot with a looser, more cartoony drawing style, a more frequent update, and a slightly more mature atmosphere.

A comic about nudists? Well, yeah! Nudists have adventures too!
[edit] Plot
[edit] Generation Gap
Willow invites several college friends, Chook, Jasmine, Lance, Troy, and Donna, over to the Koala Bay Bares to have some fun. However, the elder residents and Willow's friends have vastly different views of "fun". While the Bay Bares' regulars partake in quiet activities such as sunbathing, bocce ball and nature hikes, Willow's friends prefer things such as blasting music, motorcycling, and sex. Quite quickly, the two different generations become infuriated with each other. The Bay Bare elders find the teens to be rowdy, loud, and annoying. Willow's friends, on the other hand, find the Koala Bay Bares to be quite dull.
When confronted by her friends, Willow develops a bit of gerontophobia and constantly worries about staying young. She has conversations with her teddy bear to console herself. Both parties try to help by calling each other jerks and consoling Willow. The story ends here, abruptly.
[edit] B&W Dailies
Three unattached strips from old Loxie & Zoot material as filler parodying Dilbert, The Far Side, and Hagar the Horrible, respectively.
[edit] 3 Hour Tour…
A short 3 page Gilligan's Island parody copied over from Loxie & Zoot as filler. Herb, Zoot, Loxie, Willow, Fred, Janet, and Mungo cast off on The Manilow for a three hour tour, with Herb at the wheel. When Herb starts to play his accordion, known for its notorious bad luck, they end up stranded on an island... in Zoot's imagination as he writes the entire story from his computer.
[edit] Twinkle
Zinni asks her mother about stars and angels. The series is not yet complete.
