The Bagthorpe Saga is a set of books written by author Helen Cresswell.

The saga follows the lives of the Bagthorpe family, who live in Unicorn House in an unspecified part of the UK. The nearest large settlement is the (presumably) fictional town of Aysham.They have big funny moments like setting on fire and flooding the house,writing on the walls and having television series people to come round to film at thier destroyed home.But thats a normal day for the Bagthorpe family!
