The Bad Examples
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Bad Examples are a pop rock, alternative, or indie group. They are from Chicago Illinois but have had some success in European markets also. They formed in 1987. The driving force behind the band is singer songwriter Ralph Covert who also plays rhythm guitar. The band has significant changes in the line up from album to album which lends itself to variations in their sound. Even though the line up changes, for the most part it recycles itself within a core group of musicians.
The Bad Examples are not disbanded but are limited in performing and putting out new albums. This is due to the fact that Ralph Covert is currently creating music for children under the Ralph’s World brand. Ralph’s World is rock n’ roll musically but the lyrics and themes are oriented towards kids. Some of these albums have been nominated for Grammy Awards. Ralph's World is currently contracted with Disney.
