The Autumn Effect is Tennessee band 10 Years' first major release, available from mid-2005. Featured on the album is the popular modern rock track "Wasteland" and the new single Through the Iris. A third single, Waking Up, was released in September 2006. The album peaked at number 72 on the Billboard 200, and has recently made a re-entry into the top 100 of the chart, based on the growing mainstream success of the former single. The album as a whole has been frequently compared to the work of Tool, and, to a lesser extent, Incubus, with a recent magazine review calling the combination a "surgeon's union" [citation needed].
