The Archko Volume
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Archko Volume published in 1887, purports to be a selection of historical records from the writings of the Sanhedrin and the Jewish Talmuds which relate to the life and death of Jesus Christ.
The Rev W. D. Mahan claims that in 1883 he visited both Rome and Constantinople in order to view and copy ancient manuscripts which were then translated into English and compiled to become The Archko Volume.
The authenticity of the writings has been called into question, most famously by Edgar J. Goodspeed in his book Strange New Gospels.
