The Ants is a Pulitzer Prize-winning book, written in 1991, by E. O. Wilson and Bert Hölldobler. It was a winner of the Pulitzer Prize for General Non-Fiction in 1991.

This book is primarily aimed at academics as a reference work, detailing the anatomy, physiology, social organization, ecology, and natural history of ants. An account of some of their most interesting findings, popularized for the layman, can be found in their 1994 book Journey to the Ants.
