The American Dream is the sophomore album from the Houston rapper Mike Jones and will release through Ice Age Entertainment through Asylum Records and Warner Bros. Records.

The album was slated to release in April. The album has been on postpone for quite a while but now it has a new date February 14, 2007 is when the album will be released. Producers on the album are said to be Cool & Dre, Scott Storch, and many more. Guest include Paul Wall, Bun B, Pimp C, Scarface, Trae, Diddy, T-Pain, Z-Ro, Jim Jones, Lil' Keke, and many more.

Mike Jones had recently confirmed that The American Dream is being released on Valentine's Day 2007, and that the first single will be Mr. Jones. There are rumours he already shot a video for Mr. Jones.
