The Agony Scene
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Agony Scene is a Metalcore band from Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA, whose musical style is a combination of thrash metal and hardcore. The band has released two albums, one on Solid State Records and the other on Roadrunner Records, and is planning on a third release some time in early 2007 on Abacus Records, their current label. Since Solid State records is generally considered to be a Christian music label, some people have assumed The Agony Scene to be a Christian band. The band has since confirmed in an interview with HM magazine that since parting ways with the label, they are not a Christian band.

Between 2003-2004, The Agony Scene was living with Hacker prior to their being signed to Roadrunner, until Hacker was evicted due to non-payment of rent and over $1000 worth of damages incurred to his apartment from he and Agony Scene's parties.
In 2004, Jacob Hacker, Warren Darr and current member Brian Hodges were arrested in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma for breaking into cars in downtown Tulsa, in order to steal stereos, and then selling the stereos to pawn shops in Broken Arrow using false identification.
