The Afternoon Delights
Years active 1981

The Afternoon Delights were a Boston-based vocal studio quartet, including Rebecca Hall, Janet Powell, Robalee Barnes, and Suzanne Boucher. In 1981, they released a parody of the popular ABC soap opera General Hospital called "General Hospi-Tale". This got to #23 on the R&B charts and #33 for 3 weeks on the Billboard Pop Singles chart. Soon after, they released an EP, but it did very little. The group remains a one-hit wonder to this day.
