The Adventures of Pinocchio (Italian: Le avventure di Pinocchio), by Raoul Verdini and Umberto Spano, was supposed to be the first animated feature film from Italy, but was never completely finished. It is considered to be lost. The Italian artist Mario Pompei did the scenography of this black and white film.
