The Addams Family is the best selling pinball machine of all time, having sold 20,270 units. Manufactured by Midway (under the Bally brand name), it is a solid state electronic game.

It was based on the 1991 movie of the same name, and features custom speech by the movie's stars, including Raul Julia and Anjelica Huston. All of the game's flavor speech is drawn from the movie, with one notable exception. If the game is "Slam Tilted" which is caused by excessive force applied to the front of the machine/coin door area, this exception can be heard. The Slam Tilt event is Raul Julia's voice saying "You're a funny guy" in a menacing tone. This line is not delivered by Raul Julia in the film. However, Raul Julia delivers this line to Richard Dreyfus' character in the movie "Moon Over Parador."

In October 1994, a "Special Collectors Edition" was created, with 1000 units total.
