The 90s on 9 is the name of XM Satellite Radio's retro 1990s music channel. The service signed on September 1, 2001.
The 90s on 9 focuses mostly on hit-driven R&B, Hip-Hop, Rhythmic, Dance, Rock, Teen Pop and Alternative tracks from the 1990s (1990 to 1999), when the decade's music scene was beginning to evolve and would later embrace new genres and styles. The channel is also commercial-free.
