The 5th Wheel is an American reality dating show. It is hosted by Tom Gottlieb of You Don't Know Jack fame, though as in the games, he is never seen.

The show begins with two guys and two girls, all of whom are sent out on a joint date. Then a 5th guy or girl ("the fifth wheel") joins the group, and they swap partners to learn more about them and if they would like to go out with each other. At the end, they all vote on who they would like to go out with, with the option of choosing "nobody" as well.
