Talk:Therianthropy in popular culture
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
If this article is supposed to be about therianthropy in popular culture, then it shouldn't have a D&D-specific stub. (The categories are iffy.) Therianthropy and popular culture are not limited to D&D. If the intent was to make this a D&D article, it should have been named "Therianthropy (Dungeons & Dragons)" in the first place. When I originally stub-sorted the article, all I could really gather from it was the first sentence: "In the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying universe." That is a huge flag to me that it belongs in the D&D stub. If it's meant to be more about general popular culture, then maybe you shouldn't mention D&D in the first sentence. I'm not really sure how to sort this because it doesn't fit neatly into any of the stub types. I do strive for accuracy, but the stub types are much more limited than categories. When I first read the article, it seemed to me like the main point of the article was that it was D+D. When I read through it a second time, I realized that it eventually could be expanded, so I changed the stub tag to mythology. It seemed the closest thing that would get it out of the normal stub category. Also Jesse, your comment could be considered slightly uncivil. Just a warning. Steve 19:44, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
