a brand new cut of Superman II featuring almost entirely unseen footage.

Does the film feature footage that has not been seen by the majority of people, or is the new cut composed primarily of this footage? --HughL [talk?]/[contribs] •

  • The new cut is composed primarily of this footage, as described in the article (around 75%). I can see the slight ambiguity but it's clear enough I think —EatMyShortz 18:03, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Major changes

Recently, some major changes were made [1], I believe they were based on this article. Specifically, they were the removal of "Look, Up in the Sky" and changing the info so that Superman: The Movie has 4 discs instead of 3. The changes have since been reverted. I would like to point out that this article has no indication that it pertains to the 14-disc box set. It refers only to a separate 4-disc set of Superman: The Movie. In fact I'd be willing to bet that the fourth disc in this set is not part of the 14-disc box set. The article states:

The set also includes three documentaries and a TV special on the making of the film and the Superman legend, restored scenes, screen tests, nine vintage Max Fleischer Superman cartoons, and the 1951 movies Superman and the Mole-Men, starring TV Superman George Reeves.

My bold - what I've highlighted contradicts what we already know about the box set. Another warner interview states that all seventeen Fleischer cartoons were in here, and we've been told nothing about the George Reeves movies. So I'm assuming the fourth disc from the Superman 1 4-disc set contains half of the Fleischer toons and the George Reeves movies, while this fourth disc is not included in the 14-disc set which this article is about. I'd say that a separate disc is for the 17 Fleischer cartoons. For now, don't change the article unless new information comes out specifically pertaining to this 14-disc box set. —EatMyShortz 18:11, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Question

Does this have the cases shown?

What? --Jamdav86 21:20, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

Will it come with the cases it showed in the middle of the pages for the 5 movies?

Dunno. I assume so, as it looks like it's a big box that you slot DVDs in, like the Futurama box sets. --Jamdav86 22:10, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
