Talk:The Secret Life of Machines

any info on the theme song?
- It's a reggae version of Paul Desmond's Take Five. This song was most famously performed by Dave Brubeck, but I don't know who does the version used by Hunkin here. You can find something about the original song here [1]. Another strange thing to note is that the song is backwards - well, what I mean is that the intro music is the end of the song, and the music at the end of the programme is the start of the song. - The theme song is by Val Bennett, and is called "The Russians are Coming (aka Take 5)". I'm not sure where it was released originally, but the song can be found on the "Trojan Reggae Chiil-Out Box Set". 10:22, 26 Feb 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Series, Parts
I feel the way this was described as a "series" in three parts was misleading; they were three distinct series produced at different times. In American parlance, these would be "seasons" (U.S. usage is that "series" refers to all related programmes in all seasons).
Also, to me a "part" is more likely to refer to an individual programme.
I've tried to clear this up without getting bogged down in detail. Fourohfour 14:40, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
