Talk:The Phoenix Lectures

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Phoenix Lectures, being a book, might be better presented with reference to its publication. The Thetan article presents, "Bridge Publications, 1982 ISBN 08840040062" Terryeo 15:58, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

Yes, good point. It's important to include an ISBN, but my own copy of The Phoenix Lectures is the 1968 edition, which didn't have one. The standard on Wikipedia for citing major non-fiction books that remain in print for decades or centuries seems to be to put the first edition first, followed indented by a recent edition with an ISBN, so I've used the bibilographic info you provided. Mine says "copyright 1968, 1969. Reprinted April, 1971, Jan 1974 and June 1975, that ISBN. Since the copyright was first in 1968, it seems likely the book's information that you have is the same as the information the later printings had. Terryeo 17:31, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
