I have always been under the impression that the guitar stand developed by Alex Lifeson was called a 'Gracie' stand. I have also heard that the Omega concern involves the ultimate fate of the Universe: depending on the interaction between gravity and matter the Universe will either expand indefinitely or collapse in upon itself.

The reference to Omega might also due to speakers measuring their resistance or impedance in Ohms symbolized by the Greek letter omega.

Perhaps a RUSH nerd could shed some lime light on this.
