[edit] Neglected Randy
Although this was stated to stay on the list for ever in the TV show, on NBC.com it is shown as crossed off. Which should be taken as canon? I think that the show should take priority, however the article should also mention that it is crossed off on the site.
[edit] Order
Nice list, but why not list them by either number or chronology?
I don't want to steep on someone's toes by editing now, so I'm simply asking, what do you think of listing them by number, staring of #1 and so on?
- They aren't listed by number because some don't have a number, and some have several numbers due to errors in the show. There was already a discussion about this when the list was on the show page. Check that thread out for a full explination. And don't forget to sign your posts. JQF 21:24, 27 March 2006 (UTC)

- There are several reasons I see for leaving it as alphabetical (beginning with the amount of work it would be to change it to numerical order, I can almost use macro functions in my text editor to do it but the numbers would end up in lexicographic not numeric order). Reasons: some of them are marked unknown, where do they go? If someone wants to find an entry it is easier to search by alphabetical order than number order (of course, they can use 'Find', but they can find by number as well). I'd say leave it alphabetical, but if someone really wants it in numeric order let me know and I'll use my text editor to move the numbers to the beginning and then the sort function and then have it put it back. - I feel that it would be easier to read in numbered list. Also, wouldn't numerical because more informing, and maybe even a few seasons (maybe less) we can have a near completed list. Unnumbered could go at the bottom and multiple numbers could take priorities, like Show primarily, then promotions, then 3rd party magazine ads/articles. If a number came from the show it could be put in that place of order, but should note promotion...differences. Userpie 12:20, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Change "Attempted" Color
Does anyone thing that the "Attempted" items should get their own color? I was thinking they should be red or something. JQF 16:14, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Made Randy steal electronics & got caught (picture is still ???)
His picture is still up at the Circuit City. I'm not sure which episode he mentions this in, but I think that is probably what the ??? is.
- Does someone want to replace the ??? with 'up at Circuit City' ?
[edit] Unlisted Entry
During the season finale, didn't Earl have an entry for giving Randy a swirly? He completed it right at the begining of the show by letting Randy give him a swirly before focusing on the money he stole. --Blackjack48 00:09, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
Nevermind. I see it. --Blackjack48 01:51, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] #261
- 261 is used twice. it is the neglected randy number and also ruined joys wedding.
[edit] Segmented the List
I segmented the list into each an each letter section, much like other list pages are to make editing The List much easier in the future. Does anybody have any comments or suggestions to improve it? JQF 14:24, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
- I like it. Is there any way to set the column widths so that they're all the same? --Dmleach 16:46, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Moved page
Title of main article is My Name Is Earl (with a capital "I"), changed to reflect the correct title of the show, (as was discussed on that article's talk page). Moved "The List (My Name is Earl)" to "The List (My Name Is Earl)". Wavy G 19:01, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The list 0-99?
What about the rest of the numbering?
[edit] Always took a penny never left a penny
It is stated that Earl made up for this but he never did. I watched episode 1.2 over and over but could not find when it happened, he only talked about needing to cross this off the list. If nobody can tell me the episode where Earl crosses it off ill change this part. -- AS Artimour 22:01, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Colors too similar
Outstanding (not yet resolved) | Has been completed | Has been attempted, but not completed | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Has been started: work-in-progess | Has been crossed off the List for reasons other than a standard completion | Meant to be permanent |
Does anybody else find the current colors too similar? Specifically, there are two shades of green and two shades of red. Unless someone has a major, objection, I'm going to change them around a bit. Give me your input. Thanks! Lovelac7 07:16, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
- Well it's not two greens and two reds, there's a green, blue-green, red and a kind of mauve color. They were chosen because the text didn't have to messed with. You may need to properly adjust your screen, but if you can suggest any better colors, I'm all ears. I've posted the current version at the top for refference. JQF 01:54, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
