Talk:The Hideout
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Article employs inappropriate extrapolation ("will be on the air for a long, long time"), lacks referenced assertions ("always on the lookout for the next job", "psycho-stalker fan"), exaggerations ("incredibly helpful"), and is extremely full of very inconsequential details. Basically it's non-encyclopedic, trivial, hyperbole coverage of a minor local radio talk show, and perhaps even entirely self-promotional. It needs to be significantly trimmed down with a large, blunt editorial instrument. :) — RJH 16:28, 29 July 2005 (UTC)
- It does look suspiciously like someone very close to the show wrote it. On the other hand, it's no more "promotional" than other fan-written radio show articles (see: Opie and Anthony or Howard Stern; the very reason it looks so self-promotional is the sheer amount of factual content, more than Don and Mike, Tom Leykis, or Ron and Fez articles.
- If the article is considered notable enough to survive the VfD, I'll be happy to come back and clean it up. No sense doing anything at the moment, tho :) Kutulu 01:52, 31 July 2005 (UTC)
