[edit] Bootleg copys of Its a Wonderfull Life?
Shouldent we point out the sheer absurdity of a bootleg copy of Its a Wonderfull Life? The only reason anyone's ever even heard of the movie, much less seen it is because its in the public domain, i.e. the copyrights expired. Back when the movie was made, you got x amount of time for something to remain copyrighted, then you had to apply for extensions. After a little while, they forgot to get an extension, so the movie went into the public domain and T.V. stations started showing it. Since pretty much by definition you cant have something bootleged that was legaly made, saying that its bootleged was pretty absurd. Eds01 01:27, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

- It's A Wonderful Life is no longer in the public domain. Republic Pictures put a new copyright on the film some time ago. (Ibaranoff24 02:31, 1 July 2006 (UTC))
